About the Job

communities.Join the Nutrition Coordinating Center (NCC) as a
Software Developer with an interdisciplinary team that supports
important nutrition research in the US and around the world. NCC is
a part of the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health in the
School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. This
Academic Professional position is annually renewable and full time
(100% time).
NCC develops and maintains Nutrition Data System for Research
(NDSR), a PC-based dietary analysis software program designed for
the collection and analyses of food records, 24-hour dietary
recalls, menus, and recipes. Researchers across the U.S. license
this program for use in their research studies. The Center also
maintains and updates a premier food and nutrient database that is
used by researchers and app developers. To learn more about NCC's

This position would work with our Senior Programmer to update,
maintain, and improve our software programs, and also work closely
with our Database Scientists and a development team. Our team works
in Powerbuilder, C#, VMWare, Installshield, SQL Anywhere.
Experience with some of these technologies is preferred, but not
required.
The anticipated salary range for the job is $85,000 - $110,000.
NCC staff have the option to work up to three days per week
remotely, with the expectation that they will be in the office at
least two days per week for all-in meeting days and collaboration.
