this reputation. GENERAL SUMMARY The Vice President of Vision
Services role will communicate the value of vision care externally
to employers, brokers, members, and clinical audiences, and
internally through training, clinical guidelines, and collaboration
with the Vice President of Dental Services and Vice President of
Medical Services. This role leads the clinical strategy for vision
health, driving evidence-based innovation, outcomes research, and
thought leadership that differentiates our offerings and supports
business growth. This role reviews real-world evidence studies,
translates findings into product features and client tools, and
serves as a strategic clinical subject matter expert for business
growth, providing scalable content and consultation. The Vice
President of Vision Services sustains market-leading expertise in
eye health, clinical guidelines, and the connection between vision
and overall health. This position will be with Stratacor, an
affiliate of Delta Dental of Minnesota. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Business Growth Support • Create evidence-based content, biogs,
case studies, and tools for Sales and Account Management; develop
client-specific presentations and RFP materials that can be scaled.
• Serve as clinical subject matter expert for strategic sales
pursuits and renewals. • Co-own sales results with Sales
leadership; partner with Product Management to translate consumer
needs and market insights into scalable solutions that drive
utilization, win rates, and sustainable business growth. Education
and Training • Lead internal and external education on the
connection between vision health and whole health. • Assess
training needs of Sales and Account Management teams; deliver
customized training and coaching to build clinical fluency and
confidence. Product Management/Marketing and Member Engagement •
Collaborate with Product Management/Marketing on wellness
campaigns, preventive-care initiatives, and member-facing education
that promote utilization and health outcomes. Thought Leadership
and Market Communication • Serve as the clinical voice externally
through conference presentations, webinars, employer roundtables,
and media; communicate how early detection through eye exams
contributes to overall health outcomes. • Translate the science
linking eye health with systemic health conditions into clear,
compelling narratives for employer groups, brokers, and members.
Clinical Strategy • Own the clinical vision strategy, policies, and
evidence-based guidelines; translate guidelines into internal
standards and client-ready narratives. Evidence Evaluation, Health
Economics and Outcomes Research • Monitor and evaluate published
vision health studies, white papers, and external research to
identify credible findings that support our value proposition and
assess quality, relevance, and applicability. Outcomes Measurement
and Reporting • Define key clinical and business metrics - exam
adherence, detection of chronic disease, downstream cost impact,
and workplace productivity indicators. • Partner with Analytics to
monitor claims and utilization data, interpret findings, and
translate results into ROI models, dashboards, and client success
stories. Product Innovation with Evidence • Translate research
insights into product features, guarantees, wellness programs, and
client reporting that strengthen RFP responses and differentiate
our offerings. Population Health • Address disparities in vision
care access and outcomes; develop strategies and messaging that
resonate with large employers and public sector clients. This job

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1. Deep knowledge of vision
science, population health, and the linkage between vision health,
chronic disease, productivity, and healthcare spend. 2. Working
knowledge of the vision care benefits industry, products, consumer
market, and competitive environment. 3. Ability to critically
appraise research methodology, statistical validity, and real-world
applicability of published studies. 4. Strong scientific
communication skills: ability to author publications, deliver
presentations, and translate complex clinical and research findings
for non-clinical audiences verbally and in writing. 5. Executive
presence internally and externally, with the ability to
situationally adapt and lead collaboratively across Product,
Analytics, Marketing, Sales, and clinical teams. 6. Capability to
build and maintain collaborative relationships and foster teamwork
internally and externally. 7. Enthusiasm for listening, observing,
and learning; commitment to continuous improvement and
evidence-based decision-making. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required
1. Doctorate in Optometry 2. Ten (10) years of clinical experience
providing vision care Preferred 1. Records of publications or
conference presentations WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS 1.
Travel Requirements: Minimal local travel. 2. Weight Lifting
Requirements: Up to 15 lbs. 3. Sedentary Work: Prolonged periods of

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Benefits for this position include medical,

more information. The starting annual salary range for this
position working 32 hours per week is $104,800 to $130,400. Salary
offers will typically be made in the listed range. The Company
takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and
experience, as well as the position's work location, expected
quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external
market and internal value, including merit process and internal pay
alignment when determining the salary for potential new team
