Respiratory Therapist Details Full Time Schedules Some weekends may be required Respiratory Therapist Duties Perform tests like lung function, etc. Administer oxygen and breathing treatments. Monitor and adjust patients' respiratory treatments. Work with doctors and nurses to create care plans. Teach patients and families how to use breathing equipment. Follow safety and infection control protocols. Respiratory Therapist Qualifications Graduation from an accredited educational institution Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) by the State in which the position is located.
