Responsibilities/Job Description:Fairview Health Services is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. Were offering a $11,250 sign-on bonus!Respiratory Therapy at UMMC East Bank is a dynamic, growing department with approximately 70 staff members. As part of a large, integrated, academic healthcare system, the Respiratory Therapist (RT) has a vigorous role in the care of our patients and is an integral member of the intra-professional team.The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician. Follows defined treatment protocol according to department policies. Collects, assesses, interprets, and intervenes as appropriate in the care of neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Ensures patient welfare and safety standards during treatments.Schedule: This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks).
