DescriptionBring your general radiology and mammography
experience along with your interest in working with a diverse
clientele to Hennepin County. We're seeking a Radiology
Technologist to serve in a key role on the Radiology team. In this
position, you'll perform mammogram screenings, general radiology
exams, bone density testing (DEXA) and EKGs. NorthPoint Health &

hours:This position is located at NorthPoint Wellness Center 2220
Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Workdays are Monday
through Friday, hours and days may vary based on clinic needs with
the occasional half day on Saturdays and extended hours on
Wednesdays.About this position type:This is a full-time,
benefit-earning position.This position is internally classified as
a Radiology Technologist.Click here to view the job classification
specification.In this position, you will:Perform general
radiography, screening mammography, EKG, Bone Density testing
(Dexa) and Ankle Brachial Index (ABI).Demonstrates correct anatomic
positioning and exposure factors relating to area-specific
exams.Accurately performs data entry into the computer
systems.Perform Image management via PACS, (burns CDs or electronic
push) for continuing care.Assists with the management of forms for
guests who are enrolled in the Minnesota Department of Health
breast and cervical cancer and breast cancer control program
(Sage).Trouble-shoots malfunctioning equipment and communicates
with appropriate personnel.Inform appropriate personnel regarding
malfunctioning equipment.Perform downtime procedures when computer
systems or equipment is offline or fails.Embrace and utilize the
AAA principals in daily interactions with others.Need to
have:Completion of a two year American Medical Association approved
course in radiologic technology.Possession of certification by the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a
registered technologist; mammography certified or has met the
initial MQSA qualifications and can obtain ARRT(M) certification
within 6 months of employmentNice to have:Experience:Performing
EKGs and ABI's.Performing Bone Densitometry (Dexa) exams.Using Epic
Electronic Health Records system.Scheduling, ordering, and
checking-in patients by telephone and in person.Performing general
radiology examsBreast imaging tracking and follow-up.Fluency in
Spanish and/or Hmong in addition to EnglishKnowledge ofMN
Department of Health Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program
(Sage)Image analysis QA prior to sending images for readingPatient
positioning for all listed modalities and MQSA ACR standardsPicture
archiving and communication system (PACS)Radiology Information
Systems (RIS)Radiation safety.Poper radiology equipment for optimal
exposure factors.Candidates with fluency in Spanish and Hmong in
addition to English are encouraged to apply. Bilingual candidates
