you.What do we need?The Senior Institutional Giving Manager leads
the planning and execution of strategic grants and institutional
funding. People Serving People has a strong institutional giving
and corporate partnerships program that raises $1.5 million
annually. This position is responsible for directing the foundation
and corporate support strategy, ensuring timely grant reporting,
and expanding into national funding opportunities. This role will
also be responsible for national funding opportunities and leading
institutional strategies for a future comprehensive campaign. The
role reports to the Director of Advancement and directly supervises
the Institutional Giving Officer, the Volunteer and Community
Engagement Coordinator. We are looking for someone who will invest
in the leadership development of staff members they directly
supervise and across the team. This position works closely with the
CEO and other senior leaders to ensure integration and consistency
in our internal and external efforts. This person will have
experience securing six and seven figure funding commitments and
ideally has broad experience in the Twin Cities corporate and
foundation landscape and can accurately communicate our mission.
Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to
expand institutional funding for the mission. Partner with CEO and
Director of Advancement to grow strategic institutional
relationships for general operating, capital and special projects.
Create and oversee an effective annual grants calendar. Supervise
People Serving People's robust and growing volunteerism and in-kind
program that spans our three sites, downtown at 3rd & Portland, St.
Anne's Place and the Center of Excellence. Lead the strategies that
bring in crucial foundation and corporate support. Develop and
ensure execution of a plan for institutional funding and partner
with staff as needed to ensure success. Cultivate relationships
with key funders and stakeholders that result in six and seven
figure investments in our mission. Communicate the organization's
strategic purpose through storytelling, case-building, and other
communications vehicles that boost our ability to attract and
retain institutional support. Oversee the preparation and
submission of grant proposals. Ensure compliance with grant
requirements and deliverables. Monitor and report on grant-funded
projects to ensure alignment with funder expectations. Supervise
and support institutional giving staff member(s) Pay and
Benefits:$90,000 - $100,000 annually.Full-Time, Monday - Friday,

experience, with a minimum of 4 years working with institutional
fundraising/philanthropy. First-hand experience in securing and
managing institutional funding for a nonprofit organization.
First-hand experience in a significant capital campaign, ideally in
a leadership position Strong knowledge and experience in grant
proposal writing and reporting. Ability to prioritize and say no to
funders/opportunities when they don't align with organizational
values and strategies. Strong adaptive, interpersonal, and written
communication skills. Supervisory experience and commitment to
learning and growing together Ability to work independently and
collaboratively. Commitment to the organization's mission, vision,
and values. Training, public speaking, and/or facilitation
experience and tools. Strong racial equity lens and cultural
humility. Commitment to the organization's mission, vision, and
values. Familiarity with social justice and racial equity values
and the ability to apply them in a fundraising context and navigate
