may also include world travel. Primary Objective Assemble,
configure, install and repair MTS mechanical systems in house and
at customer sites. Major Areas of Accountability /n - Assembles and
configures mechanical systems according to engineering and
manufacturing documentation. /n - Meets standards for quality,
efficiency and schedule. /n - Interprets engineering documents to
determine results and processes. /n - Troubleshoots and repairs new
and customer-owned mechanical test systems. /n - Disassembles and
diagnose problems. /n - Develops solutions and resolves performance
issues. /n - Estimates repair time and materials. /n - Collaborates
to maintain accuracy of documents and records per MTS policies. /n
- Initiates exchange of information on BOM, drawing and
documentation corrections through appropriate processes. /n -
Actively influences final documentation decisions. /n - Actively
and accurately executes non conforming materials process. /n -
Develops techniques and collaborates in the development of
manufacturing and repair processes. /n - Installs and repairs new
and existing systems on customer site. /n - Exhibits
professionalism on the job at MTS and at customer sites. /n -
Behaves in a respectful manner toward coworkers, engineers,
supervisors and customers. /n - Communicates effectively with
coworkers, engineers, supervisors and customers. /n - Maintains
knowledge and training in industry, technology and MTS products /n
- Participates in required training. /n - Provides training (as
appropriate for responsibility level) /n /n Minimum Qualifications
Two year certification from college or trade school or military
training in an applicable discipline (mechanics, hydraulics,
electronics) or Four years applicable experience in an applicable
environment. And 5 years mechanical assembly experience applicable
to MTS products. Minimum Knowledge & Skills /n - Must understand
and apply hydro-mechanical technologies: /n - Hydraulic schematics,
hydraulic flow characteristics, tube & hose sizing, proper sealing
characteristics, basic structural integrity, quality and safety in
designs. /n - Working knowledge of MTS Actuators and HPU's. /n -
Ability to work multiple projects and/or multiple sub-projects
within a single project. Ability to lead small teams successfully
and coordinate multiple tasks. /n - Advanced Technical Skills:
Ability to configure and integrate multi-level systems. Ability to
interpret engineering, project management and customer objectives;
determine options, risks and benefits and to decide whether to act
or seek additional authority. /n /n Additional information All your
