Position: Dean of School Culture/ADSIS Behavior Interventionist-
Middle School Salary: $50,000- $75,000 Dates: 2026-2027 and beyond
Status: Full-time; 10.5 month Mission: Partnership Academys mission

Function : The Dean of School Culture is responsible for building
and maintaining systems that ensure a joyous, equitable, and
achievement-oriented school culture. They implement the schools
mission through effective support of the schools students and staff
in maintaining a positive and healthy school climate. They coach
teachers, analyze data, manage student behavior, and facilitate
professional development to ensure high-quality instruction and a
strong, joyful school community. Working closely with the other
Culture Deans, the Dean of School Culture will oversee and support
integration of MTSS and PBIS into the schools programs and systems.
The Dean of School Culture reports to their grade level principal.
Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 3 years of K-12 lead
teaching experience with a demonstrated record of high student
achievement Leadership: At least 1 year of experience coaching or
leading adults Education: Bachelors degree required; Masters degree
preferred Experience working with culturally and linguistically
diverse students Bachelors Degree required Minimum 2 years of
experience in a student dean role or similar role in an elementary
school setting Understanding of and capacity to engage in and
develop and implement professional development regarding MTSS and
PBIS. Excellent oral and written skills Bilingual/Spanish a plus
Successful experience working in an urban educational setting
Successful experience in communicating with parents and students.
Responsibilities: Implements grade level/band behavior management
systems. Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure
implementation of equitable instructional practices and access to
improve outcomes for all students. Maintains and reports grade
level/band discipline data. Coaches and supports staff in driving a
culture of high achievement. Ensures due process and legal
compliance with all student disciplinary actions. Works with other
departments to track and report discipline data and provide
interventions accordingly. Works with school level staff to develop
and implement plans for meeting school goals for culture and
climate. Assist in creating and facilitating interventions for
students. Through coaching and modeling, support school based staff
in building their capacity to implement positive culture and
climate practices. Assist school in the creation of discipline data
tracking systems and data analysis. Engage and communicate with
school stakeholders (parents, students, staff, etc.) regarding
culture and climate interventions and initiatives. Maintain systems
and policies for attendance, entry, breakfast, class transitions,
cafeteria usage, lunch, bathroom usage, dismissal, homework and
other areas of student life. Implement a behavior management system
consistent with the schools educational philosophy and philosophy
for school culture and wellness. Gather and analyze grade
level/band trends around attendance, behavior, homework and class
transitions and develop and lead initiatives to address challenges.
Invest students and parents in the schools goals and core values;
ensure that all students care deeply about their school community,
about their own academic performance, about their futures; ensure
students find joy in learning and have fun; emphasize schools
mission and values in one-on-one, class, grade level and grade
level/band venues. Conduct regular school culture walkthroughs to
maintain a high bar of excellence. Support the training of staff in
classroom management, student engagement and parent involvement in
regard to culture data. Work with the schools social workers and
special education teachers as necessary and partner with teachers
to provide extra interventions. Implement protocols and best
practices to ensure that teachers communicate regularly with
parents Partner with grade level band deans to ensure smooth entry,
dismissal and transit to and from school. Maintain Reflection Room
process and procedures, and follow-through with communication with
stakeholders. Other Duties Assist with strategic vision and
